Speaking & Conferences

Stories that open a question. Experience that gives it context. Ideas people can actually carry back with them.

Francklin Pierre with a colleague at an international professional gathering, Hotel Riu Plaza, Panama

This picture isn't really about the hotel.

It's a colleague, an international gathering, a hotel lobby in Panama, nothing staged about it. What makes it worth a second look isn't the room. It's the distance.

The distance between where a life starts and where learning, relationships, discipline, and a willingness to keep showing up can eventually take it.

Where the Story Started

Jérémie, Haiti. Later, a stretch of childhood in La Vodwòg, then Port-au-Prince, where things weren't much easier. Opportunity wasn't sitting nearby waiting to be picked up.

The night of secondary-school graduation is one I still think about. After the ceremony, hungry, I walked to a small market in Delmas 32 and bought a Pate kòde (A popular handmade Haitian fried stuffed pastry.), because that's what there was.

That's not a poverty story. It's just where the story happens to start.

What Changed

What changed wasn't a single break. It was communication studies, then radio, then aviation, one role at a time. Operations agent, supervisor, airport manager, two decades inside environments where a delay or a mistake became a hundred people's problem within minutes.

Along the way: colleagues from different countries, an international network nobody handed over, and a habit of learning that never really turned itself off.

The Question That Came After

I did not begin with many of the resources or opportunities I would later encounter. But I learned to recognize, build, and use the resources that were actually available to me.

That's the part worth sharing. Not the journey itself, since every journey is different, but the question underneath it:

What can experience teach us about creating possibilities when the path ahead isn't obvious?

What I Bring to a Room

Lived experience. Two decades of operations and leadership. A communication background that started in a classroom and kept getting tested by real customers, real colleagues, real pressure. An international, multilingual perspective. And a habit of turning what's been lived into something someone else can actually use.

FP P.R.O.V.I.S.I.O.N.

FP stands for Francklin Pierre. Somewhere between the aviation years, the customer conversations, and the ongoing work in communication and organizational improvement, the lessons started repeating themselves enough to organize. That became FP P.R.O.V.I.S.I.O.N., a developing framework for looking at leadership, organizations, and professional growth through nine connected lenses.

It didn't arrive independently of the journey. It's the journey, given some structure.

P
Purpose
Why are we doing this, and what are we actually trying to accomplish?
R
Relationships
Trust, loyalty, and reliability. What a connection becomes over time.
O
Organizational Improvement
Understanding what can work better, and pursuing it in practical terms.
V
Vision
Seeing what exists today while imagining what could exist next.
I
Innovation
Creativity, learning, and digital tools, used where they genuinely create value.
S
Strategy
Turning intention into priorities, action, and something measurable.
I
Integrity
Credibility built through behavior, before it's ever communicated through branding.
O
Operational Excellence
Consistency and quality, without losing sight of the people doing the work.
N
Networking
Creating the connections. Relationships decide what those connections become.

Innovation shouldn't mean adopting technology simply because it's new. Problem first. Technology second.

This is still developing. It isn't a finished formula, and it doesn't claim to be validated by anyone but the years it came from. But it's become a useful way to organize a story into something a room can actually use.

How the Story Gets Used

Story Reflection Principle Question Application

A story about a photograph. A reflection on the distance it represents. A principle drawn out of it. A question turned back toward the room. Something practical enough to leave with.

A story becomes useful when someone else can find a question for their own life inside it.

For Young People

A classroom, a youth program, an early-career audience doesn't need another collection of slogans. It needs a story that makes possibility feel credible instead of abstract, and a few honest questions about what's already available to build from.

For Entrepreneurs & Emerging Leaders

Business groups, accelerators, founder communities: self-leadership, reputation, decision-making, communication, and the practical use of AI and digital tools, drawn from someone who's built things with limited resources more than once.

For Organizations & Teams

Leadership sessions, customer-experience conversations, internal development days: story and professional experience combined, not a motivational hour disconnected from the actual work a team does.

International & Multilingual Perspective

Two decades across the Caribbean, Latin America, and North America. Four languages: English, French, Haitian Creole, Spanish. A comfort moving between cultures that comes from years of actually doing it, not a slide about diversity.

Evolving Topics

The themes keep evolving alongside the work: strategic communication, organizational improvement, digital innovation, AI used with judgment. This isn't a fixed set of stories from a fixed year. It's still being written.

“Reputation is accumulated through behavior before it is communicated through branding.”

Sometimes one story is enough to open a different question. A conference, a team, a classroom, or a leadership conversation doesn't need another collection of slogans. It needs ideas people can connect to their own experience, question for themselves, and carry back into their decisions.
