It depends on which passport you have. Many passports can travel to Curaçao without a visa. However, people holding passports requiring visas must go to a Netherlands consulate to request the visa.

– Where did you stay?
I stayed at the Santa Barbara beach and Golf Resort – A very nice Hotel, a little out of the city.
– What about transportation?
I did not experiment the public transportation since we had a bus moving with the group. But they have a particular taxi service.

– Is the place connected? Do they have a good internet signal
Curacao is connected, I got a good signal with a company like Digicel, and the Internet signal was excellent at the hotel.- People’s overall trading attitude?
People have a good attitude regarding trading; I did not experiment in any case of cheating or fooling.
– Why would you not recommend someone to go there?
I found no reason not to go to Curaçao, except if you are looking for a crowdy or crazy place; in that case, Curaçao would not be the best destination for you.

– Why would you recommend someone to go there?
I would recommend visiting Curaçao and particularly Willemstad for many reasons. Another excellent place to discover is Curaçao teaches. Curaçao tells great stories and has lovely city sights for amazing travel photography, nice beaches, nice weather, a pleasant environment, Caribbean flavor, typical nature, and some fantastic touristic attractions

International Thank you Day

January 11
World thank you day.

Many times you had that good feeling because someone said thanks to you. Many times, you felt more powerful, more determinated, you felt ready to help and to do much more, just because you received a simple “thank you”.

Thanking is part of these small words that bring energy. A simple thank you can fuel people engine and push them to do very big things that you did not even imagine. A small thank you can make people act for you, for the family, for the organization, for the community, and others. A small thank you can make people do things that the biggest amount of money cannot pay them for.

If a thank you did not exist we would need much more money to pay for many little things, and this would quickly empty your pockets. There is another important thing that I bellieve: if you are a professional and you are getting remunerated for a service, if the client just give the money and does not acompany it with a warm thank you; there is an high percentage that you just lost a client and even five other clients.

World thank you day, great moment, great opportunity to thank your friends just for being your friends, thank your parents for their love and presence, thank your teachers, your neighboors, thank people for their supports or else. And you know what? The positive effect will be felt quickly.

Positives side effects of a thank you are endless, repetitive, and rechargeable. A thank you can also be seen as a good old wine. A thank you works and can be used at anytime.
– You can say thank you immediately for something or a service you received; and it will work
– You can say thank you many days after you have forgotten to say thanks; it will still work
– You can say thank you for something that you refused to say thanks for, after months or years; it will work
– You can say thank you for something you have already said thanks for; it will work again and even better with more power than when you said it previously.

A simple thank you can push people to do more for you. A simple thank you can influence for much more performance at a professional or operational environment

Let’s do this exercice today, which will help you to observe, live and apreciate the power of a “thank you”. After reading this post; call, text or go to someone or some peple and say thanks to him, her or them, for something you have already thanked them for. Than feel free to share about everyone feelings.

Air Transat To Permanently Cut 40% Of Staff, Citing Pandemic Impact

Canadian airline Air Transat will permanently lay off at least 2,000 employees, representing around 40% of its total workforce, after the COVID-19 pandemic forced it to completely shut down operations for nearly four months between April and late July.

Air Transat president and CEO Jean-Marc Eustache said during a Sept. 10 conference call that the reductions must occur “unless the situation improves rapidly.”

Two-thirds of the company’s 5,100-strong workforce is already laid-off on a temporary basis, with their wages partially funded by the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy, which covers 75% of an employee’s wages—or up to C$847 ($642) per week—for Canadian employers harmed financially by the pandemic.

The Montreal-based leisure carrier was hit particularly hard by the pandemic early on, owing to its predominantly long-haul network, which features flights to European, Caribbean and Latin American vacation destinations from bases in Montreal and Toronto.

Air Transat began furloughing staff in late March, before suspending operations entirely on April 1, after global border closures and restrictions by the Canadian government made most international travel impractical. Read full article on Aviation week

COVID-19-inspired industry innovations

Delta, TSA introduce antimicrobial bins at five airports

Credit: Delta Air LinesDelta is rolling out antimicrobial bins in partnership with TSA as part of the Delta CareStandard. The bins are in automated screening lanes in Atlanta, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Los Angeles, New York-LaGuardia and New York-JFK.

The new bins prevent the growth of a broad spectrum of bacteria through antimicrobial technology that is built into the bin and continuously minimizes the presence of microbes throughout the bin’s lifecycle. Delta said the black color and indicators on bin handles “will help customers know their belongings are safely traveling through the security checkpoint protected by this antimicrobial advancement.”
